Refund policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy is part of our terms of service. It explains when we refund a payment. To ask for one, open a ticket from the panel (topic: Billing) or write to contact@gamehosting.app with your order or server name.
48 hours for problems on our side
For a server's first payment, monthly or yearly, you can ask for a full refund within 48 hours of the order if the server did not work or performed badly because of a problem on our side, such as hardware, network or setup. Tell us what went wrong so we can try to fix it first. A person reviews every request and approves the refund when the problem was ours.
To try a server before paying, use the free 24-hour trial; nothing is charged for it, so there is nothing to refund. This refund window does not cover changing your mind, no longer wanting to play, a game update or publisher change, problems caused by mods, uploaded files or settings you changed, or issues with your own connection or device. Each account can receive this refund once per game.
Renewals and cancellations
Renewal payments, monthly or yearly, are not refundable. Cancel from the panel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge; your server keeps running until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund or prorate unused days, weeks or months, including the rest of a yearly plan.
If we charged you by mistake, for example twice for the same period or after you cancelled in time, we refund the mistaken charge in full.
Plan changes and credits
When you move to a smaller plan, the difference for the rest of the period is added to your account balance and used on future invoices. Balance credits, discounts and downtime credits are not paid out in cash.
No refund
Servers may only be used to host the game you subscribed to. Any attempt to use one for anything else, such as sending email, mining or running proxies, ends all services and servers on the account without refund of any payment, including prepaid periods. We also do not refund accounts involved in fraud or payments that are the subject of a bank dispute. If you open a dispute, the result of that process replaces any refund from us.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, in US dollars, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. We cannot refund currency conversion or other fees charged by your bank. When a refund is approved for a server's current period, that server's subscription ends and the server is removed.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
