The Elder: how to summon and beat it
The Elder is the second boss of Valheim, in the Black Forest. Offer 3 Ancient Seed at the Ancient Bowl to summon it; it has 2,500 health and takes extra fire damage. Beating it opens the way to the Swamp.
How to summon The Elder
Find the Ancient Bowl in the Black Forest, then offer 3 Ancient Seed at it. Everything about Ancient Seed is on its page.

The power of the forest invigorates you. You shall gather its bounties faster, just as you shall regain your own vitality should you lose it.

- Lasts 5 min, then 20 min before you can use it again
Hang The Elder Trophy on its stone at the Sacrificial Stones, where you started, then use your power key.
