Valheim modpack checker

In r2modman, open your Valheim profile, go to Settings → Profile → Export profile as a code, and copy the code it shows. In Gale, export the profile as a code from its profile menu. Paste the code above. Or export the profile as a file (.r2z) and drop that instead.

It depends on each mod. Many gameplay mods must be on the server and every player’s PC, with the same version. Interface and map mods are often only for players, and some admin mods only for the server. The checker groups your list by what each mod’s page says; mods whose authors don’t say are safest on both.

Mods that check versions or sync configs kick players whose mod list differs from the server’s. Share the server’s exact profile code so everyone has the same mods and versions, and check the list here for mods that need updating.

The author or Thunderstore marked the mod as no longer maintained there. It may still work, but it won’t get fixes. When a newer release exists on Hexium, the checker shows its version and adds it to the updated list.

A dropped .r2z file is opened in your browser and only the mod names and versions are sent to our checker, never the file or your configs. A profile code is sent to our checker, which looks up the shared profile on Thunderstore, as r2modman and Gale do when they import it.
