Onion is a food in Valheim you can have after Bonemass, in the Mountain. Grow it from Onion Seeds: Plant Onion Seeds on cultivated ground with the Cultivator, then pick it when it’s grown.

The item ID is Onion. Open the console with F5, type devcommands, then paste the command.
