How to breed Mimog in Palworld

Step-by-step guide

#144

Mimog

Neutral

  • Get itWild, Lv 10–67
  • Breeding power1,740
  • Male eggs80%
  • EggLarge Common Egg

Mimog can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Mimog make another one. Catch it first: it spawns from Lv 10 to 67 (lowest near Foot of the Volcano). After that, every Mimog egg is a Mimog.

Its breeding power is 1,740. The formula never makes Mimog, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Mimog make a Mimog egg; everything else Mimog breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

Mimog is one of the first Pals you can catch (Wild, Lv 10–67, near Foot of the Volcano): no breeding needed.

Where to catch Mimog and its parents

  • MimogSpawns from Lv 10 to 67 (lowest near Foot of the Volcano). Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.31% of the eggs in World Tree Egg nests (grade 1), as a Large Common Egg.Map

Passives

Mimog has no passive of its own: a bred Mimog inherits up to four from its two parents, at random.

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Mimog

Mimog isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Mimog.

What Mimog’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Mimog make a mutated egg of 11 Pals, most often Fenglope Lux (20%), Helzephyr Lux (20%) and Sootseer (8.6%). With other partners, Mimog’s mutated eggs can hatch 82 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:

Quick answers

What two Pals make Mimog?

Only two Mimog, a male and a female. No pair of other Pals makes it.

Where do I catch Mimog?

It spawns from Lv 10 to 67 (lowest near Foot of the Volcano). Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.31% of the eggs in World Tree Egg nests (grade 1), as a Large Common Egg. The map shows every spawn point by day and night.

What does Mimog breed into?

With other Pals, Mimog makes 98 different Pals. The rarest: Ghangler (with Panthalus), Loomen (with Frostallion Noct) and Venusa (with Jormuntide Ignis). Two Mimog make Mimog.

Does gender matter when breeding Mimog?

Only that one parent is male and the other female. Which parent is which doesn’t change the egg. A bred Mimog is male about 80% of the time.

Can Mimog hatch from a mutated egg?

No. Mimog isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. It only comes from two of its kind.

What are Mimog’s stats at level 50?

At level 50 with IVs from 0 to 100, Mimog has 2,250–2,700 HP, 325–392 Attack and 537–683 Defense, before condenser, trust, Statue of Power and passives. An alpha Mimog has 2,550–3,090 HP.

What does Mimog drop?

Below level 10: Gold Coin ×1000–2000 (100%), Dog Coin ×14–21 (100%) and Training Manual (XL) ×1 (20%). From level 10 on, it drops a different list instead (see the table above). The alpha Treasure Trove Mimog also drops Ancient Civilization Parts ×1–3 (100%), Dog Coin ×35 (100%), Training Manual (XL) ×1 (100%), Precious Claw ×1–2 (100%), Ancient Civilization Parts ×2–3 (100%), Dog Coin ×38 (100%), Ancient Civilization Parts ×3–4 (100%), Dog Coin ×41 (100%), Ancient Civilization Parts ×5–6 (100%), Dog Coin ×44 (100%), Ancient Civilization Parts ×6–8 (100%), Dog Coin ×47 (100%), Ancient Civilization Parts ×8–9 (100%) and Dog Coin ×50 (100%).
