How to use the Palworld breeding calculator

The calculator answers four questions for all 299 Pals in Palworld 1.0.5: what two Pals make, which pairs make the Pal you want, which pairs’ mutated eggs can hatch it, and the shortest chain of breeds to get it. Here is each mode, how to tick the Pals you have, and how to share what you find.

  • 7 steps
  • Free, no account
  • Runs in your browser
Open the breeding calculator
  1. Step 1: Two parents in, the egg out

In Parents → child, click each slot and choose a Pal: type its name or Paldeck number and press Enter. The egg shows on the right with how to get it. When the parents’ genders decide the egg, like Katress and Wixen, it shows both results and which mother and father make each.

Below, “Everything Katress makes” lists every child with each partner. Click a partner to put it in the other slot.

Parents → child with Katress and Wixen: Genders decide the egg, Katress Ignis or Wixen Noct, and everything Katress makes below.
  2. Step 2: Find every pair that makes a Pal

In Child → parents, choose the Pal you want. Every pair that makes it shows, special combos first, then the parents you can catch soonest. Sort them, filter by a parent, and click any parent to see how to breed that one.

Child → parents for Anubis: 234 pairs make Anubis, the easiest Blazamut and Dualith.
  3. Step 3: See what a mutated egg hatches

About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs is mutated and hatches another Pal than the usual child, picked from a range of breeding power set by the parents, with IVs of 90 or more. With two parents picked, If the egg mutates lists every Pal their mutated egg can hatch and its share, like Tarantriss on 5.4% of the mutated eggs of Lamball and Cattiva.

Pick the cake you feed the Breeding Farm: Extravagant Vegetable Cake raises mutations to 3% of eggs. The tiles say how many eggs that takes on average and for a 50% or 90% chance.

Only the rarer Pals can hatch from a mutated egg: never the commonest ones, legendaries, raid or tower Pals.

If the egg mutates for Lamball and Cattiva with Extravagant Vegetable Cake: 3% per egg, 33 eggs on average, and 27 Pals it can hatch, Tarantriss and Slowatt first.
  4. Step 4: Find the pairs that mutate into a Pal

In Mutations, choose the Pal you want. Every pair whose mutated eggs can hatch it shows with the chance per egg for your cake, the likeliest first or the easiest parents first. Untick Pairs with Terraria monsters to see only Palpagos Pals.

Mutations for Felbat: 5,041 pairs can hatch a mutated Felbat; the likeliest is about 1 in 557 eggs with Extravagant Vegetable Cake.
  5. Step 5: Tick the Pals you have

Click My Pals and tick the species you have. Then every list marks them, you can show only pairs from Pals you have, and the chain can start from them.

Loaded your world in the breeding path? Add my world’s Pals ticks them all at once.

Your Pals are kept in this browser only.

The My Pals window with Lamball, Cattiva, Lifmunk, Vixy and Pengullet ticked: Added Anubis, 13 species ticked.
  6. Step 6: Plan the shortest chain, then share it

In Breeding chain, start from early Pals (wild, level 10 or lower), from My Pals or from one Pal, and choose the Pal you want. Each row is one breed: the Pal from the step before plus a partner, with where to catch the partner. Another route shows a different chain.

Copy link shares the mode, the start and the Pal you want. A chain from your own Pals depends on the Pals the other person ticked, so theirs can differ.

Each breed needs a male and a female. A hatched Pal can be either, so hatch another egg if a step needs the other one.

Breeding chain from My Pals to Anubis in 3 breeds, starting from Mau, with “Link copied” at the top right.
  7. Step 7: Open a Pal’s own page

Every Pal has a page, like how to breed Anubis: special combos, the easiest pairs, the shortest chain from early Pals, where to catch it and its parents, its passives and every pair that makes it.

Where it spawns opens the map on that Pal; Plan it with passives opens the breeding path.

The How to breed Anubis in Palworld page: its card (Wild Lv 68, breeding power 480) and the easiest pairs.

That’s every mode

Want the Pal with the right passives too? The breeding path guide shows how to plan it from your own Pals.
