Quick answers
How do I breed a Pal with the passives I want?
Pick the Pal and up to four passives. The planner finds which of your Pals carry them and the route that puts them all on the target with the fewest eggs to hatch. Each egg inherits passives from both parents at random, so breed each step until an egg has the passives shown; each step says how many eggs that takes on average.
How many eggs does it take to get the passives?
An egg inherits 1, 2, 3 or 4 of its parents’ passives (weighted 4:3:2:1 in the game’s data) and can get up to 3 random ones. From two parents that carry just the two passives you want, about 42% of eggs have both (with at most one other); four passives come together on 10% of eggs. Parents with other passives lower the odds, so the planner prefers clean parents even when that takes a breed more, and counts the sex each step needs and the 1% of eggs that mutate. “Fewest breeds” switches back to the shortest chain.
Should I breed a passive or use the Pal Surgery Table?
Turn on “Let the Pal Surgery Table add passives” and the route adds them to the finished Pal for gold when that saves eggs: 10,000 or 50,000 gold each, and some first need an Implant bought once at the Arena or Bounty shop. Rare ones need a Disposable Implant from Ancient Relics; tick the ones you have. A table under the route shows, for each passive, where the route gets it and what surgery would cost.
Which cake should I use for breeding passives?
Special Cake makes every egg inherit four of its parents’ passives, so two clean parents that carry four wanted passives give them on every egg instead of 1 in 10. Vegetable Cake makes two eggs per cake, Mushroom and Extravagant Vegetable Cake add 1 to 5 IV points, and Extravagant Vegetable Cake raises mutations from 1% to 3% of eggs. Pick the cake and the route and its egg count follow it.
What if none of my Pals has a passive?
It shows greyed out with where it comes from: the Pals that are always born with it (Legend on legendaries, Lunker on Neptilius…), how rare it is on wild Pals, Lucky Pals for Lucky, and the Disposable Implants that add it at a Pal Surgery Table. With “Catch wild Pals” on, the route says which Pal to catch and links to where it spawns.
Can a bred Pal have higher IVs than its parents?
Yes. An egg copies 1, 2 or 3 of its parents’ IVs (HP, Attack, Defense; weighted 3:2:1 in the game’s data) and rolls the rest again from 0 to 100, so a rolled stat can beat both parents. In community tests each stat came from either parent about 28% of the time and was rolled about 44%. The planner shows your Pals’ IVs, what each egg can copy, and can use only your Pals with high IVs.
Where is my Palworld world folder?
Steam on Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\<your Steam ID>\<world ID>\, the folder with Level.sav and Players. Choose that folder, or the SaveGames folder itself (or your Steam ID folder) and pick the world from the list (name, host and level, in-game day, last played), or a .zip of any of them. On a dedicated server it is Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/<world ID>/.
Is my save uploaded?
It never leaves your device. Your browser reads the world folder itself and keeps only the list of Pals, so the page remembers it next time. Nothing is uploaded to us, and Pals added by hand stay in your browser too. Saves are decoded with the open-source ooz-wasm (GPL-3.0); its license and source are at gamehosting.app/licenses/ooz-wasm.txt.
Can my server do this without uploading anything?
Yes. On a Game Hosting Palworld server (from $16.99/mo) the panel reads your world every few minutes, so the Breeding tab always starts from the Pals your group has, and “Where it spawns” opens the live map.
