How to breed Lyleen in Palworld
Step-by-step guide#186
Lyleen
Grass
- Get itAlpha, Lv 58
- Breeding power240
- Male eggs30%
- EggHuge Verdant Egg
Lyleen can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Lyleen make another one. Catch it first: it spawns only as an alpha, from Lv 58 (lowest near Dancing Sakura Shrine). After that, every Lyleen egg is a Lyleen.
Its breeding power is 240. The formula never makes Lyleen, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.
Why only its own kind
Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Lyleen make a Lyleen egg; everything else Lyleen breeds with makes another Pal (below).
Shortest chain from early-game Pals
No chain of breeds reaches Lyleen: catch Lyleen itself first.
Where to catch Lyleen and its parents
- LyleenSpawns only as an alpha, from Lv 58 (lowest near Dancing Sakura Shrine). Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.31% of the eggs in World Tree Egg nests (grade 1), as a Huge Verdant Egg.Map
Passives
Every Lyleen is born with Spirit Emperor, bred or caught; it doesn’t need to be inherited.
- Spirit Emperor30% increase in Grass attack damage.
To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Lyleen
Lyleen isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Lyleen.
What Lyleen’s mutated eggs hatch
Two Lyleen make a mutated egg of Eidrolon Ignis. With other partners, Lyleen’s mutated eggs can hatch 87 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:
- Eidrolon Igniswith Jormuntide Ignis: 100% of mutants, 1 in 33 eggs
- Jormuntide Igniswith Selyne: 67% of mutants, 1 in 50 eggs

Quick answers
What two Pals make Lyleen?
Only two Lyleen, a male and a female. No pair of other Pals makes it.
Where do I catch Lyleen?
It spawns only as an alpha, from Lv 58 (lowest near Dancing Sakura Shrine). Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.31% of the eggs in World Tree Egg nests (grade 1), as a Huge Verdant Egg. The map shows every spawn point by day and night.
What does Lyleen breed into?
With other Pals, Lyleen makes 72 different Pals. The rarest: Lyleen Noct (with Menasting), Ophydia (with Jormuntide Ignis) and Knocklem (with Knocklem). Two Lyleen make Lyleen.
Does gender matter when breeding Lyleen?
Only that one parent is male and the other female. Which parent is which doesn’t change the egg. A bred Lyleen is male about 30% of the time.
Can Lyleen hatch from a mutated egg?
No. Lyleen isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. It only comes from two of its kind.
What are Lyleen’s stats at level 50?
At level 50 with IVs from 0 to 100, Lyleen has 3,750–4,650 HP, 550–685 Attack and 462–586 Defense, before condenser, trust, Statue of Power and passives. An alpha Lyleen has 4,350–5,430 HP.
What does Lyleen drop?
Below level 70: High Quality Recovery Meds ×1–3 (100%), Beautiful Flower ×1–2 (100%) and Innovative Technical Manual ×1 (10%). From level 70 on, it drops a different list instead (see the table above). The alpha Empress of Lilies Lyleen also drops Ancient Civilization Parts ×6–7 (100%) and Precious Entrails ×6–7 (100%).
