335 pairs make Wumpo in Palworld: 334 of different Pals, plus two Wumpo. The easiest is Helzephyr Lux (wild, Lv 47) with Ghangler Ignis (wild, Lv 40–69), then Wumpo + Bushi Noct. You can also catch it from Lv 45 to 52 (lowest near Astral Mountains).

Its breeding power is 830, between Lapure (810) and Frostplume (860): two parents whose powers average closest to 830 make Wumpo. Lower powers are the rarer Pals.

The easiest pairs

Sorted by how soon you can catch both parents: their lowest wild level, then how common and how hard to catch they are. Each card is one pair to put in the Breeding Farm; open it to see the egg in the calculator.

Pairs whose mutated eggs hatch Wumpo

About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs is mutated (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake). A mutated egg hatches another Pal than the pair’s usual child, picked from a range of breeding power set by the parents: 2,925 pairs can hatch Wumpo that way. It comes with IVs of 90 to 100, 2 condenser stars and a passive only mutation gives. The odds below are per egg with Extravagant Vegetable Cake.

What Wumpo’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Wumpo make a mutated egg of 7 Pals, most often Elgrove Cryst (18%), Pierdon Cryst (18%) and Astegon (17%). With other partners, Wumpo’s mutated eggs can hatch 88 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:

Researchers once tried to shave off its hair to reveal its true form. In the end, only hair was left, as if that was all there was to begin with.

Quick answers

What two Pals make Wumpo?

335 pairs do, two Wumpo included. The easiest to set up: Helzephyr Lux + Ghangler Ignis, Wumpo + Bushi Noct and Ghangler + Tetroise. Any pair works with one male and one female; level and passives don’t change the species.

Where do I catch Wumpo?

It spawns from Lv 45 to 52 (lowest near Astral Mountains). Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.87% of the eggs in Frozen Egg nests (grade 2), as a Large Frozen Egg. The map shows every spawn point by day and night.

What does Wumpo breed into?

With other Pals, Wumpo makes 84 different Pals. The rarest: Azurmane (with Panthalus), Pierdon Cryst (with Pierdon) and Anubis (with Frostallion Noct). Two Wumpo make Wumpo.

Does gender matter when breeding Wumpo?

Only that one parent is male and the other female. Which parent is which doesn’t change the egg. A bred Wumpo is male about 50% of the time.

Can Wumpo hatch from a mutated egg?

Yes: 2,925 pairs can. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs is mutated (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake), and a mutated egg hatches another Pal than the usual child, picked from a range of breeding power set by the parents. The likeliest pair is Robinquill Terra + Bastigor: 100% of its mutated eggs are Wumpo, about 1 in 33 eggs with that cake. A mutated Wumpo has IVs of 90 to 100 and 2 condenser stars.

What’s the fastest way to breed Wumpo from early Pals?

1 breed from Incineram: Incineram + Jormuntide Ignis → Wumpo.

What are Wumpo’s stats at level 50?

At level 50 with IVs from 0 to 100, Wumpo has 4,250–5,300 HP, 400–490 Attack and 425–537 Defense, before condenser, trust, Statue of Power and passives. An alpha Wumpo has 4,950–6,210 HP.

What does Wumpo drop?

Ice Organ ×2–3 (100%) and Beautiful Flower ×1 (20%). The alpha Guardian of the Snowy Fields Wumpo also drops Ancient Civilization Parts ×6–8 (100%) and Precious Pelt ×6–8 (100%).
