How to breed Panthalus in Palworld

Step-by-step guide

#203

Panthalus

Water

  • Get itOnly from its own kind
  • Breeding power20
  • Male eggs50%
  • EggHuge Damp Egg

Panthalus can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Panthalus make another one. It isn’t caught in the open world. After that, every Panthalus egg is a Panthalus.

Its breeding power is 20. The formula never makes Panthalus, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Panthalus make a Panthalus egg; everything else Panthalus breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

No chain of breeds reaches Panthalus: catch Panthalus itself first.

Where to catch Panthalus and its parents

  • PanthalusNot in the open world: breed it.

Passives

Panthalus has no passive of its own: a bred Panthalus inherits up to four from its two parents, at random.

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Panthalus

Panthalus isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Panthalus.

What Panthalus’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Panthalus make a mutated egg of Aegidron. With other partners, Panthalus’s mutated eggs can hatch 78 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:
