How to breed Xenolord in Palworld

Step-by-step guide

#196

Xenolord

DarkDragon

  • Get itOnly from its own kind
  • Breeding power400
  • Male eggs50%
  • EggHuge Dark Egg

Xenolord can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Xenolord make another one. It isn’t caught in the open world. After that, every Xenolord egg is a Xenolord.

Its breeding power is 400. The formula never makes Xenolord, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Xenolord make a Xenolord egg; everything else Xenolord breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

No chain of breeds reaches Xenolord: catch Xenolord itself first.

Where to catch Xenolord and its parents

  • XenolordNot in the open world: breed it.

Passives

Every Xenolord is born with Invader and Otherworldly Cells, bred or caught; it doesn’t need to be inherited.

  • Invader30% increase in Dark attack damage. 30% increase in Dragon attack damage.
  • Otherworldly CellsAttack +10% Fire damage reduction 15% Lightning damage reduction 15%

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Xenolord

Xenolord isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Xenolord.

What Xenolord’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Xenolord make a mutated egg of 4 Pals, most often Ophydia (50%), Knocklem Ignis (38%) and Tetroise Primo (10%). With other partners, Xenolord’s mutated eggs can hatch 89 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:
