How to breed Bastigor in Palworld

Step-by-step guide

#191

Bastigor

Ice

  • Get itWild, Lv 75–80 (World Tree)
  • Breeding power50
  • Male eggs60%
  • EggHuge Frozen Egg

Bastigor can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Bastigor make another one. Catch it first: it spawns from Lv 75 to 80 on the World Tree. After that, every Bastigor egg is a Bastigor.

Its breeding power is 50. The formula never makes Bastigor, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Bastigor make a Bastigor egg; everything else Bastigor breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

No chain of breeds reaches Bastigor: catch Bastigor itself first.

Where to catch Bastigor and its parents

  • BastigorSpawns from Lv 75 to 80 on the World Tree. Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.31% of the eggs in World Tree Egg nests (grade 1), as a Huge Frozen Egg.Map

Passives

Bastigor has no passive of its own: a bred Bastigor inherits up to four from its two parents, at random.

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Bastigor

Bastigor isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Bastigor.

What Bastigor’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Bastigor make a mutated egg of Aegidron. With other partners, Bastigor’s mutated eggs can hatch 81 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:

Quick answers

What two Pals make Bastigor?

Only two Bastigor, a male and a female. No pair of other Pals makes it.

Where do I catch Bastigor?

It spawns from Lv 75 to 80 on the World Tree. Eggs found in the world hatch it too: 2.31% of the eggs in World Tree Egg nests (grade 1), as a Huge Frozen Egg. The map shows every spawn point by day and night.

What does Bastigor breed into?

Only that one parent is male and the other female. Which parent is which doesn’t change the egg. A bred Bastigor is male about 60% of the time.

Can Bastigor hatch from a mutated egg?
