How to breed Dandilord in Palworld

Dandilord

GrassDark

  • Get itOnly from its own kind
  • Breeding power60
  • Male eggs60%
  • EggHuge Verdant Egg

Dandilord can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Dandilord make another one. It isn’t caught in the open world. After that, every Dandilord egg is a Dandilord.

Its breeding power is 60. The formula never makes Dandilord, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Dandilord make a Dandilord egg; everything else Dandilord breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

No chain of breeds reaches Dandilord: catch Dandilord itself first.

Where to catch Dandilord and its parents

  • DandilordNot in the open world: breed it.

Passives

Dandilord has no passive of its own: a bred Dandilord inherits up to four from its two parents, at random.

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Dandilord

Dandilord isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Dandilord.

What Dandilord’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Dandilord make a mutated egg of Aegidron. With other partners, Dandilord’s mutated eggs can hatch 81 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:

Since ancient times, it has remained within the World Tree, continuing its vigil. What it protects, and for what purpose, Dandilord does not care. After all, the World Tree knows everything. Only the mist it wields can reveal the truth.

Quick answers

What two Pals make Dandilord?

Only two Dandilord, a male and a female. No pair of other Pals makes it.
