How to breed Necromus in Palworld

Necromus

Dark

  • Get itAlpha, Lv 60
  • Breeding power190
  • Male eggs50%
  • EggHuge Dark Egg

Necromus can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Necromus make another one. Catch it first: it spawns only as an alpha, from Lv 60. After that, every Necromus egg is a Necromus.

Its breeding power is 190. The formula never makes Necromus, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Necromus make a Necromus egg; everything else Necromus breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

No chain of breeds reaches Necromus: catch Necromus itself first.

Passives

Every Necromus is born with Legend and Lord of the Underworld, bred or caught; it doesn’t need to be inherited.

  • LegendAttack +20% Defense +20% Movement Speed increases 20%
  • Lord of the Underworld30% increase in Dark attack damage.

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Necromus

Necromus isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Necromus.

What Necromus’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Necromus make a mutated egg of Eidrolon Ignis. With other partners, Necromus’s mutated eggs can hatch 87 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:
