How to breed Paladius in Palworld

Step-by-step guide

Paladius

Neutral

  • Get itAlpha, Lv 60
  • Breeding power180
  • Male eggs50%
  • EggHuge Common Egg

Paladius can’t be bred from other Pals: only a male and a female Paladius make another one. Catch it first: it spawns only as an alpha, from Lv 60. After that, every Paladius egg is a Paladius.

Its breeding power is 180. The formula never makes Paladius, but as a parent it counts like any Pal: the lower the parents’ powers, the rarer the egg.

Why only its own kind

Some Pals are left out of the breeding formula: most legendaries, raid and tower bosses and a few others. No pair of other Pals ever makes them, however close their breeding power is. A male and a female Paladius make a Paladius egg; everything else Paladius breeds with makes another Pal (below).

Shortest chain from early-game Pals

No chain of breeds reaches Paladius: catch Paladius itself first.

Passives

Every Paladius is born with Legend and Celestial Emperor, bred or caught; it doesn’t need to be inherited.

To get the passives you want, pick them in the Breeding path: it finds which of your Pals carry them and the shortest route.

Mutated eggs never hatch Paladius

Paladius isn’t on the game’s list of Pals a mutated egg can hatch, which leaves out legendaries, raid and tower Pals, Terraria monsters and a few variants. About 1 in 100 Breeding Farm eggs (1 in 33 with Extravagant Vegetable Cake) is mutated, but never into Paladius.

What Paladius’s mutated eggs hatch

Two Paladius make a mutated egg of Eidrolon Ignis. With other partners, Paladius’s mutated eggs can hatch 87 different Pals. The rarest, with the partner that gives each one most often:
